Charles Cartier

Charles lives in the riding, which is also where he was raised and purchased his first home. He is married to Louise Yergeau and father to Pascal age 34, Dominic age 32 and Édith age 29. Charles attended elementary school and received a classical day school education at Monseigneur Decelles-Sorel. He is active in his community and was a member of the pastoral steering committee on the future of churches and parish councils. He was also Director of Recreation.

In the past few years, Charles has worked with his wife on a farm developing organic agriculture. He served as founding director of the Agrobio cooperative in Quebec, director of the Société d’agriculture de Richelieu and was a member of the Pierre de Saurel CLD. He was also first Vice-Chairman of the Fédération d’agriculture biologique from 2000 to 2003.

Charles is the best candidate to promote the region’s issues, especially: business transfers, services for business, workforce integration and adjustment, recreation-tourism development, local community renewal, and support for youth to keep them in the regions. Only the Conservative Party can promote these issues because it cares about regional advancement and believes in personal freedom, family, job creation and the economy.
